    YWCA Family Violence Prevention Program Groups

C.O.P.E. (changes, options, partnership, education), also called B.I.P.P.S. is a batterers intervention group for men to end domestic violence facilitated by Stephen Lulla.  The program is designed for men who wish to change their abusive behaviors.  Participants may be court ordered or referred. 

Ohio County participants must call Officer Joe Sipos at 304-234-3872 to attend BIPPs in Wheeling.  Participants must complete 16 weeks of Phase I classes and then 16 weeks of Phase II classes, totaling 32 weeks of classes.  Phase I is from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and Phase II  is from 7:30pm to 9:00pm on Wednesdays at the Ohio County Library.

Hancock and Brook County participants must call Stephen Lulla at the Day Report Center (304) 748-8043 to attend BIPPs in Weirton on Tuesdays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Marshall County inquiries call the Moundsville DRC at (304) 845-6951.

Ohio County Support Group is held on Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

Marshall County Support Group is held on Thursday from 1:00pm to 2:30.

Wetzel County Support Group is held on Monday from 12:30pm to 2:00pm.
